All LG LED LCD TVs have a secret service menu/engineering mode that allows users to access advanced menus/options and adjust internal settings including picture height, width, location, colors, and blueback screen, among other things.

First method:
For a few seconds, press and hold the OK button on the remote as well as the TV screen.
Second method:
Click and hold the MENU button on the remote and the MENU button on the TV at the same time for at least 5-7 seconds.
Third method:
Press and hold the REMOTE’S MENU button before a 4-digit password screen appears.

LG LCD monitor service menu:
First method:
First, turn off the monitor, then press and hold the MENU button, then turn on the monitor. After the display has been switched on, release the MENU button.
Second method:
To open the OSD menu, press the MENU button. At the bottom of the menu, you’ll see a new option to enter factory service mode. You can see useful details including product type, manufacturer date, LCD panel number, and so on while in factory service mode.
Note: To access the service menu on some newer LG televisions, you’ll need a special Service Remote; we recommend this LG Service Remote.
Note: The use of these service menus should be done with extreme care. Adjustments should be made first, followed by an examination of the results. Make sure you don’t save your changes too soon. If something goes wrong, simply turn the TV off and on again to return to the factory defaults.
